Marriage

Marriage is one of the most beautiful traditions of Islam and God’s messenger. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) said: “Marriage is my tradition, so he who does not follow my tradition in religion, is not from me.” He also said, “whosoever get married has completed half of his religion.”

You can come to the center having the following documents in your hand and by preset appointment, and get a valid marriage certificate after doing your Islamic marriage.
It should be noted that the only center authorized to grant this certificate, according to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is the Imam Ali Center.

Required documents for formal marriage registration:
1. Danish marriage letter.
2. The original of Iranian birth certificate of couples for Iranians.
3. Original of Danish passports of the both of the couples or any passport with which they reside in Denmark + residence card.
4. The health card of both couples.
5. If the marriage is the first marriage of the wife, the presence of her father or his written and authenticated consent is required.
6. 1200 DKK (It can be paid via mobilePay).
7. If one of the couples is non-Muslim and wishes to be converted to Islam, he or she may convert to Islam at this center and receive a certificate of conversion.

The copies of the above documents must be submitted to the following email address up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time, otherwise it will not be possible to grant the official marriage letter. The original documents must be presented in person.
